Sorry to make your Coachella FOMO worse, but it turns out Tyla and Zara Larsson were also at the festival—and they had an absolute blast. The two pop stars teamed up for a girls’ trip this past weekend to celebrate their new joint song, “She Did It Again,” which dropped on Friday. Hopping on the same record and music video apparently wasn’t enough for the duo; they had to keep the collab going with a party in the desert.

They got ready together, posed for photos, met some fans, and enjoyed the shows. Tyla even had a moment with the members of FLO, and Larsson stopped by PinkPantheress’s set to perform “Stateside.” With summer on the horizon, it’s the perfect reminder for us to plan our own trips with our besties.

Tyla will soon have more to celebrate as she is gearing up for another album. “She Did It Again,” which follows her latest viral hit “Chanel,” is the lead single for her upcoming sophomore LP. (The steamy music video with Larsson already racked up 4 million views in four days.) Tyla told ELLE in her October 2024 cover story that her meteoric rise may influence her new music. “I do feel like I’ve changed a lot in the span of a few months; people may not see it,” she said. “I’m excited to see that in my next album.”

The Coachella trip is also a fitting side quest for Larsson, who just announced her deluxe album, Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, is dropping on May 1. Although details about the record are mostly under wraps, she hinted at a slew of global collaborators in a cryptic Instagram post featuring a road trip map with stops around the world. Larsson previously told ELLE of the deluxe: “It’s going to be a motherquake.”
