Offset is opening up about getting back to work after he was shot outside a Florida casino earlier this month and subsequently hospitalized.
The 34-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, appeared on the Thursday, April 23 episode of the Creators Inc. podcast, filmed less than a week after the April 6 shooting, according to host Andy Bachman.
"How the hell did you even get here?" Bachman asked Offset, who was connected to an IV drip during the interview.
"Gotta keep pushin’, like the Energizer Bunny, man," responded the Migos alum, who was previously treated for injuries at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., after the shooting outside Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood shortly after 7 p.m. local time on April 6.
"Keep this s--- pushin'," added Offset. "We don’t got time to be slowing down."
The Kiari artist performed at University of Arkansas’s Rowfest on April 11, arriving on stage in a wheelchair but later standing to perform and engage with the crowd.
Bachman asked how Offset not only played the show but flew to Los Angeles for the interview. The rapper explained he flew in a G5 private plane while laying in a bed and slept through the flight.

Offset said on the podcast that he's working on a new album featuring songs inspired by "what happens in my real life."
As for how the musician was able to handle the University of Arkansas concert so quickly after the shooting, he said, "The show don’t never stop at the end of the day."

"I was blessed enough to be able to still move, you know what I mean? So I’m still moving," added Offset. "I'm pushing at the end of the day. The grind don’t stop, bro. I ain’t want nobody to feel sorry for me or no s--- like that. People get shot every day, bro. Like, I’m blessed. I can keep pushing, so why would I just sit down?"
Following the shooting, fellow rapper Lil Tjay was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct-affray on April 6 in Florida. He was booked in Broward County Jail, according to records obtained by PEOPLE, and released on a $500 bond in the afternoon on April 7.

The Seminole Police Department said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE that Lil Tjay, 24, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested "in connection with the incident that took place Monday night at a valet area outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood" which occurred following his involvement in a fight before Offset was shot. Police also detained a second person at the scene, though that person was not charged.
Lil Tjay's lawyer Dawn Florio issued a statement on Instagram to deny "false rumors that Lil Tjay was involved" in the shooting and wrote, "Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false."
