Davide āDaviā De Pierro, who proudly refers to himself as āhalf Italian, half Jersey boy,ā is an influencer known for his painfully relatable reels that offer quick-witted commentary onā mostlyāmodern-day dating... but also on everything from his unfiltered feelings about "babies with grown-up names" and how "getting old is wild" when just sneezing weird can cause a chiropractic emergency.
Davi captures moments we can all recognizeāand laugh at. And, as the holidays approach, he has also been sharing hilarious reflections on the realities of familylife.
"Do you ever look at a family member and just think, 'How am I related to this?'" he asks in his most recent reel. "But hey, family is family. We can't pick 'em. We just silently judge them at every gathering and then talk about it on the drive home."

The video is collecting comments from folks who couldn't agree more.
"At least once a week," one Instagram user wrote, with another asking, "Just one member?"
Others have added that, if you can't think of that particular family member, it's probably you. And some have cheekily commented that they can't like it because they see their siblings peeping at the post and don't want to start a war in the family group chat.
Speaking of starting a war with the siblings, Davi also shared another viral video recently about conflict resolution, explaining that he and his sister "don't apologize." Instead, they "just suddenly start being nice to each other again." He calls sibling forgiveness "wild because it's never verbal." Real siblings, he says, just start sharing food and memes again, or they start insulting each other, you know, in a friendly tone.
"There's no conversations, no 'my bad,' no emotional growth," he explains. "Just a silent agreement that the beef has expired. One minute we're not speaking⦠Then out of nowhere, she's like, 'You want some chips?'"
Commenters have called it "a kind of sibling rule."
"Sibling drama is the only war where the ceasefire starts with, 'What are you watching?' instead of an apology," another wrote.
While not necessarily related to family time, Davi also shared a video about the rage he feels when people are in the kitchen at the same time as himāsomething siblings can certainly relate to while they're home visiting family this holiday season.
"Something about it activates a primal anger I can't explain," he says. "I just want to walk in and make a sandwich, and suddenly it feels like the entire population of Earth has decided to stand exactly where I need to be. Why are you here? Why are you breathing near the fridge? Why are you opening drawers I need in three seconds?"
He starts slamming cabinets a little too loudly and sighing dramatically, hoping they take the hint. Alas, they continue chopping veggies like it's a cooking show.
"The rage is real," he adds. "Is it normal? Probably not."
The comments section of the viral video is as crowded as the kitchen on Christmasmorning. While the rage may not be "normal," it definitely doesn't affect Davi alone.
"I honestly thought I was alone in this," one Instagram user wrote. "I love being alone in my kitchen! Let me cook in peace with my music."
Others agreed, calling cooking a "sacred solo activity."
"Get out of my brain," and "I feel seen," were also amongst the thread of comments loaded with laughing emojis.
"How do you have your finger on the pulse of every pet peeve humans experience?" one Instagram user asked. "You have a superpower that feels eerie."
Recently, Davi channeled his signature honesty into The Letters I Never Sent, an intimate audiobook written and read by Davi himself, exploring themes of love, loss, and longing with the same humor and heart that have made his online presence irresistible.
If you're still holiday shopping, head over to buy Davi's book here. You won't regret itālike eating something you knew would hurt your stomach...
