Hoda Kotb reunited with Al Roker and Craig Melvin for New Year's Eve
The trio celebrated the start of 2026 with their families in Pasadena, Calif.

On Dec. 31, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker and Craig Melvin celebrated New Year's Eve together with their families in Pasadena, Calif., ahead of hosting the Rose Parade on Jan. 1.
"What a great way to start #2026," Roker captioned a carousel of Instagram photos from the get together, featuring various shots of his son Nick and wife Deborah Roberts with Kotb, her daughters Haley and Hope; Melvin, his wife Lindsay Czarniak and their children, Delano and Sybil.

"Another fantastic #newyearseve dinner at @bistro45pasadena to fortify us for hosting the 137th @rose_parade on @nbc," Roker added.
Kotb posted her own round-up to socials, leading with a shot of herself and her daughters in front of "2026" balloons.
"Happy new year!!!!" she captioned the post, while Roberts included a shot of herself with Kotb, Czarniak and Sybil in a photo dump where she wished everyone a happy 2026 as well.

This year marks Melvin's first time co-hosting the parade, which is in its 137th year and its 99th on NBC. Kotb and Roker have hosted the parade 11 and 27 times, respectively, according to Today.com.
Ahead of the parade, Czarniak even posted a fun behind-the-scenes-style video of the tour she and her family took of the floats.

"Can you believe this?!" she captioned the clip.
For Christmas, Melvin posted a photo of his family in coordinating Christmas pajamas, while their dog Myles appeared "a bit unimpressed with our shenanigans," he wrote. Kotb, for her part, spent the holidays with her daughters, her mother, her sister, her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman and the family's dog, Waffles.
Roker celebrated the arrival of his daughter, Leila, who was home for the holidays.
"Perfect Christmas present," he called the visit. He also posted a reel featuring more of his family members, including granddaughter, Skye.
